We place European students at one of the continent's most accessible English-taught medical universities — guided by medical students who live and study in Riga themselves.

Most agencies advise from a distance. We live and study in Riga. We are medical students at the same university we place you in — which means our advice is practical, current, and honest. Our relationship does not end at enrollment.
Both founders are based in Riga. No remote desk advice — real local knowledge on housing, student life and the university from day one.
We study medicine at the same university. We know the curriculum, professors, exams and student community from the inside.
A database of successful motivation letters from accepted students — not generic templates, but proven examples with real results.
Our relationship does not end at enrollment. We stay with you through your studies — as the network you need when challenges arise.
"We built this because we lived it. Not as a business idea — but as a response to a real gap."
Zineddine grew up in Cologne knowing medicine was the path. He finished his Abitur — but not with a grade that would open German university doors directly. Rather than wait years for a place that might never come, he made a decision: start now, start somewhere real.
Riga had the reputation. Doctors in Germany knew the name. The city had an international community, a quality of life that surprised him, and a university that didn't put a test between a motivated student and their future.
Since his second semester he has been helping newly arrived students with everything no one prepares you for — finding a flat, understanding how the university actually works, getting through the mental weight of first-year medicine. That grew into BMS.
Malik left school with a 1.5 — one of the best grades in his year. He applied to German universities three times. Did a gap year in emergency services. Prepared for the TMS, scored 55%, and was rejected again. Three years. Full effort. No place.
He didn't stop. He tried another university abroad first, realised quickly it wasn't right, and found Riga. The first semester was hard — learning how to learn, building structure from scratch, far from home. But he found his footing.
Today he is in his 7th semester and calls it the best decision of his life. His story is the reason BMS exists: because the path here shouldn't be as hard as it was for him.
We review your grades and profile. Honest assessment — no false promises.
We guide you through every required document. Motivation letter support included.
We submit and manage your application directly with the university.
We prepare you for the Skype interview — with real questions and targeted feedback.
Offer received. We assist with visa, housing and your arrival in Riga.
You're here. We're here too — for the long term, not just enrollment day.
BMS was with me from the first email to my first day on campus. Having someone who actually studies here made every step less overwhelming — they knew exactly what the university wanted.
I had been rejected from German universities twice. Within three months of contacting BMS I had my acceptance letter. The motivation letter support alone was worth everything.
What sets BMS apart is that they still answer your questions after you're enrolled. Most agencies disappear once they get their commission. These guys are different.
Our service is funded by a commission from the university. You pay nothing to BMS — only the standard university application fee of approximately €200 applies directly to the university.
Riga sits at the right intersection of cost, access and EU recognition. More affordable than Semmelweis (~€18,400/yr) or Charles University (~€16,700/yr), with a stronger profile than Romanian or Bulgarian alternatives — and no entrance exam between you and an acceptance letter.
